Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on the 20th of July, 2021, as Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent, she covers everything from NASA and the recently created Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin is the daughter of two NASA Astronauts. Kristin has grown up with the space industry as well as covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In her tenure, she reported on the presidential 2020 campaign, two impeachment trial and two attempts to prevent the spread of coronavirus and two other administrations' initiatives. She also traveled with President Trump and Vice President Biden often. The trip included a shady trip to Afghanistan. Before becoming a part of the company in 2015, Kristin spent nearly a decade advancing through the local news channels in Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she received the Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the city's CBS affiliate. Using her skills behind the camera, Kristin created Field Mouse Films in 2014. The company focused on making documentary-style movies for clients of corporate nature, including Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors in Science of Journalism at Boston University. She is married to her husband and their two children in Washington, D.C., and has a three-year old daughter.
